Story
George is five years old and has a serious spinal disorder, SMA Type 2 (Spinal Muscular Atrophy). SMA affects motor neurons in the spinal cord, eventually leading to severe disability. George will need an endless list of medical equipment throughout his life and with this in mind I will be running the Great East Run on 24 September to raise further funds.

7 years agoOnly a few days to go now and really excited, I'm so looking forward to the new route. Training has gone well and hopefully no last minute injury like last year. Looking to improve on 2:22:23 from last year. Huge thanks again to everybody that has sponsored me, it means a lot.

7 years agoThank you so much for sponsoring me. My target was passed within the first day, amazing. After a week lazing in the sun I've resumed training and it's going well. First up is the 10k Twilight Run in Ipswich town centre on 18 August then plan to increase mileage in preparation for the Great East Run.
