I've raised £15000 to To help put up a training centre for disabled and disadvantage people in memory of my mother who had polio and suffered stroke and died.

My mother Joana Asante suffered from Polio when she was only 7 years. She was on crutches almost all her life till she was
again unfortunately hit with stroke 17 years ago.My mother was bed ridden in her last years. Sadly she passed on, on the 26 Feb.2017 after complaining about heart pains.
Her passing away was a massive shock to me,my brother, our family and friends.
What really consoled us was the fact that she was a very strong character and full of life despite her disability.
With her disability she still learnt dress making and earned a living through the dress making trade.
This great achievements of my mother was partly due to the love, support and help she received from us as a family.
In her memory we want to appeal to you to help us raise £15000 to put up a disabled and disadvantaged training center. This facilities will be use to train all disabled and disadvantaged people who are not lucky like my mother.
This we hope will help disabled people learn, discover and develop their talent and skills to hopefully give them the chance to earn a living without necessarily becoming a burden to their children, family and friends and the community.
Many disabled people are not fortunate enough like my mother who had the love, respect and support from us as a family.
We want to team up with you to be the one to provide the much needed support, love and respect by disabled and disadvantaged people in Ghana.
Disability is not inability .Thanks
