You always think situations like this won't happen to you but they hit the best of us. We are a hard working couple who are at rock bottom, we have exhausted every avenue including ourselves. David lost his job last year and has been unsuccessful in securing a new one, not through the want of trying. He's lost count of the number of jobs he's applied for. He has many years of experience in eCommerce, retail and fraud with transferable skills aplenty, we just don't understand why no one is interested. I have a job and with a small claim on benefits between us we somehow manage to keep our heads above water. It's not easy though I can tell you, it puts a strain on everything.

Asking for help is hard, it's a super low point but some super kind people I know have listened and suggested that pride is swallowed and to ask. What's the worst that can happen?

David's car broke down several months ago, and with all our money paying bills etc we have been unable to afford to get it repaired, so today the car has had to go.. This means David has no long term means of transport, living in a rural location public transport is scarce and expensive. We have my car but as I work I can't always take him where he needs to be. We would be forever grateful for any help. The amount we're asking for is to purchase a small car and cover any fees and costs involved.
