I've raised £500 to support the fantastic work of Ducklings of the Nottingham Children's Hospital School based at the Queens Medical Centre.

Thank you for taking the time to visit my Just Giving page.
Over the next months I'll be taking five running challenges to support the fantastic work of the Ducklings charity of the Nottingham Children's Hospital School based at the Queens Medical Centre, Nottingham (http://qmceducationcentre.co.uk).
Duckings registered Charity Number is: 1170283
I have chosen to raise money for Ducklings because they are a small charity with a great impact on the wellbeing of pupils. They strive to provide the highest quality education to children at the QMC Hospital school and work hard to overcome barriers to learning posed by ill health.
They are a local, volunteer only charity (every penny raised goes to the kids). Their focus is to help with short breaks, days out, birthday parties and other fantastic events and experiences for the kids at the hospital/school as well as with the upkeep of their school roof garden. All funds contribute to all these wonderful projects and many extras, like the 'Buddy Doubles' project (a cuddly animal or character literally becomes the child's double and sits in the pupil’s chair, goes to assembly with the class, and takes part in as much of the everyday activities as possible when the child is unable to do so).
To help Ducklings run all these projects, I have challenged myself to run:
• 8k night time run on 31 October (completed)
• 5mi Golden Gates Gallop on 8 October (completed)
• 10k Wilne on 3 September (completed)
• 10mi Derby on 11 November (completed)
• Half marathon on 17 December (completed)
