I've raised £500 to Help Elijah get back on his feet, and be the best he can be. Any remainder will go to Heel and Toe children's charity.

As a family we are doing some physical challenges in 2018 to fund an extra block of physiotherapy for Elijah. Jo is ran the 'Rough Runner' on Saturday the 21st July 2018 - a 10k obstacle run that I think might kill me! https://roughrunner.com/
Both kids are doing a Triathlon and following it up withe the great north run (or in Elijah's case, roll!). Aaron is as yet undecided as to what he will do.
Elijah is 9 years old and has a condition called Spina Bifida that (among other things) affects his ability to walk. He can use a walker for short periods and was starting to walk further distances. His condition however sometimes means that things can deteriorate as he grows and also requires surgery from time to time.
Elijah has had two surgeries to correct the position of his hips in the last year. This has slowed his progress and meant his muscles have weakened. We would like to give him some intensive physio in addition to what he already gets to help him get stronger, be more active, develop more independence and participate in sport.
Elijah will be having his therapy at Heel And Toe Childrens Charity. This is a small charity with provides a range of therapies to children with various physical disabilities. Part of the money raised will go towards the charity so they can continue to provide just over 100 weekly therapy sessions.
