Today our friend Cris lost her husband before his time in a tragic motorbike accident as he was heading to work as a delivery driver . The accident happened very close to their home . Kayo was only 30 years old and was pronounced dead at the scene.We are all in shock and want to help in anyway we can.

Cris is now a young widow and mother of 3 , the 2 youngest children are only 6 and 8 years old. Cris is a low income worker who works tirelessly as a cleaner , she had already experienced loss of income due to Covid -19 and falls outside of the government support plans. She is now left alone to care for her young family as the sole breadwinner with no family support and no family in the UK. Not only is she coping with immense grief, the current pandemic complicates the situation further.

Kayo was the only child of his mother , who is having difficulty getting a travel document to come to attend the funeral of her son, and see her grandchildren at this very difficult time , so Cris is alone with the support of her friends and church.

Cris and Kayo are from Brazil , but had settled in London to raise their family.We hope to raise some funds for funeral costs and to help at this very difficult time. Please give what you can to help . Thank you x
