The Eton and Eton Wick Information Centre (EIC) hub provides help and information for those of all ages that who work, visit and live in the area, supporting the local economy, promoting the historic context and the opportunities for wellbeing and education.
Did you know:
- EIC is operated within the Eton ‘Community Interest Company’ (CIC) and is a not-for-profit company.
- EIC is a voluntary lead organisation employing local people with ongoing costs funded by fundraising, ticket & art sales & events (not by central government)
- EIC opened in summer 2019, assisting some 1,000 people in its first few weeks of operation.
- EIC has launched and maintains an online presence (Instagram and website)
- EIC provides a very visible contribution to the community for corporate social responsibility (CSR) commitments
- EIC is continually working to improve Eton as a place to work, visit and live by supporting and collaborating with local artists, authors, schools, students, elderly, Eton College Community team, museums, charities & faith groups .
- EIC Won the "Visitor Information Service of the Year" silver award in this year’s Beautiful South Tourism Awards
