As everyone knows Hayward House relies on donations and fundraising events from the public, but due to COVID it’s been very difficult year, so I have set this Fundraiser up as I would like to be able to raise enough money to supply at least £1,000 worth of brand new Usborne books, to be used by both the patients and their families at Hayward House.

Hayward House is a very special place for my family, after losing family members to cancer.
My wonderful Auntie received such amazing care as a patient at Hayward House, whilst my fabulous Mum received equally astounding care from staff over at the City Hospital (same site), but sadly she never made the trip across the road to the beautiful unit.

As visitors to Hayward House, we saw first-hand how important the unit is for both patients and their families at such an important, and often emotional time in life.
The support we received as a family was nothing short of amazing....

So I would love to be able to give back and provide some books for use by the patients and their families. It would also be amazing if we raised enough money to purchase some books to keep in the family/visitors room too, especially for younger visitors.

My aim is to raise initially £630, as along with the extremely generous extra 60% of FREE books available from Usborne, this would give Hayward House £1,000 of brand new books!

Any donation is very much welcomed, no matter how big or small 😊
