As a family we‘re raising funds to help buy a cuddle bed for St Michael’s Hospice. When our dear Dad, Grandad and Mums life long partner in crime received palliative care at St Michaels, his wish was to have a cuddle with Mum. This wasn’t possible due his to catheter.

We would love to be able to help raise funds for a cuddle bed to be available for other families who find themselves in the same difficult position. As a family, we couldn‘t have asked for more love and support from the hospice at such a difficult times in our lives.

St Michael’s Hospice receives just 16% of their funds from the NHS, the rest is raised thanks to the generosity and kindness of our community, so any pennies you can donate will be gratefully received.

Dad was know by his Grandchildren as ‘The Legend’, always up for a laugh and joke, he was a fantastic Grandad. In remembrance of ‘The Legend’‘, the family will be taking part in a series of fund raising challenges and activities to raise £15,000 to buy a cuddle bed for the hospice to allow other families to spend precious moments together.

Our first challenge will be a sky dive which Holly and I will be taking part in on 31st July, wish us luck….. we‘re going to need it.
