Story

When Teddy was a couple of weeks old, we noticed he always tilted his head to one side, this was caused by something called Torticollis. Unfortunately this has now caused Teddy to have severe Plagiocephaly and Brachycephaly.

This can be treated wearing a TiMband helmet, which is made to the exact model of your baby’s head shape. This is then modified at regular intervals throughout treatment to gently bring about correction as the head continues to grow during the early months of a baby’s life. This treatment is not funded by the NHS and costs a total of £2,025.

I was told by the health visitor that the NHS do not do anything until 18 months of age. Luckily I had carried out my own research and found that by 18 months of age there is nothing that can actually be done as it will be to late and he would then be left with permenant deformity.

Teddy is beginning his treatment on Friday 29th June and we have 2 months to try and raise the funds. if anyone is able to donate any amount no matter how small we will be forever grateful and if not then thank you for taking the time to read this.
