Street Treats was set up to help feed the homeless and those in financial difficulty across Manchester and Tameside. We have major supermarkets on board and we use their waste products (which otherwise would go to landfill) to help our community group achieve its goals each week.

We are looking to expand the food waste which we collect, of which a lot of it is still in date but the packaging may be discontinued for example. Other foods received are past their best before dates but still perfectly edible (packets etc) and still very much in need across our region.

We have some great ideas for how street treats could expand the amazing work we do but need your ongoing support to achieve this.

All monies raised will go directly back into street treats for whatever is needed to help the group be the best it can be, be it purchasing sleeping bags, polystyrene cups and food trays or even larger items such as a table for our outreach in Manchester.

Up until now Street Treats have not accepted monetary donations but have participated in car boot sales to assist us in getting any items that may be needed. But as we are getting bigger and better we need this support to assist us in continuing the work we do.
