Story

Hi. My name is Jody Obrien.
I am a BHS/RDA qualified riding instructor.
I have 22 years experience.
In 2012 I set up "horseback healing". I opened Clayton-le-moors riding centre on a friends allotment.
Jamie the pony and I delighted our customers but unfortunately there was no arena so we had to move.
We moved to Oswaldtwistle and in 2014 North East Lancashire Riding for the disabled (registered charity 1163463) was founded by myself and some good friends.
3 years on and our project has helped over 600 people.
We are one of the best equipped R.D.A's in the country.
We are now looking for a new home from where we can expand.
We are looking for a small property in the Hyndburn area.
We need around 6 acres, 5 stables, a menage and 2 bedroom accomodation for me and my 11 year old son.
We are a very ambitious community group with big plans for the future.
Since being a little girl I have always loved horses.
I am so lucky to be able to share my love with so many people.
It is my dream to create a Therapy Farm here in Hyndburn.
I have the drive and the ability. I am proud of what I have helped to create and amazed by the passion and support of all the people who have helped and overcome the most massive obstacles.
Now I am looking for a way to take my dream to the next level.
We need a permanent home.
£400 k will buy us the ideal place.
We have a solid business plan and cash forecast.
I wondered if this might catch the interest of someone who would like to help us take this next step.
Thankyou for reading.
