..Jen Baker caught a flesh eating bug ESBLs in Pembury hospital from a simple injection site. She now has a massive hole in her tummy & changing dressings up to 4 times a day due to the bleeds , they are causing Jens blood levels to drop dangerously low. At the moment there is no cure for E.S.B.Ls . They have operated 50 times to cut it out the dead tissue causing severe scar tissue this is to tight and keeps tearing . A doctor in London will hopefully be operating soon. He will be removing the scar tissue just to give her stomach some stability . In the meantime all they can do is keep checking blood levels and do blood transfusions when needed . Her pain is so bad. The daily strains & toll on her frail body unimaginable. She has been let down time and time again. The last time she was due to have another major operation at St Thomas .She arrived there only to find no one was expecting her or knew anything about her. The financial strain on this family is huge, Her devoted husband is her full time carer... Transport to and from hospital & doctors is expensive , without other financial burdens .
