More than a quarter of a million people are homeless in England, there are hundreds of people sleeping rough on the streets in Brighton and Hove, it is an absolute outrage and a disgrace the way society in general ignores the most vulnerable and needy. We need to do more, this time of year many scared and lonely people freeze to death in shop doorways, whilst empty buildings stand neglected, no more squatters rights to help the poor, just public order acts to criminalise the traumatised. Everyone of us can do something, whether its 5 mins of your time, buying someone a hot drink or a bag of chips. I've set up this page in hope we can raise enough money to buy some waterproof sleeping bags to help give people who are suffering a little bit of comfort.
