My name is Faith and I am an 11 year old swimmer. Swimming is my passion and I train with the London Borough of Hounslow Swimming Club as much as I can!

My coach is Lisa and she used to be a really good swimmer, winning medals at Nationals as a teenager and I want to be just like her.

I won 3 medals at the Middlesex County Championships this year and qualified for the Regional Championships. I am currently in the top 25 in 2 events in the whole of the UK in my age group.

Coach Lisa is taking some of my team mates to a warm weather elite training camp in Fuerteventura. They will be able to train in a 50m pool twice a day and also do land training and yoga. The coaches are all really experienced and qualified including an ex European Champion!

I couldn't go because unfortunately we haven't been able to raise the full amount needed. But now a swimmer has dropped out and there is a chance for me to go! I am doing jobs for my family and I am going to make jewellery to make money to try and pay for the camp.

Another swimming coach suggested that I make a 'JustGiving' page to ask for help too from my local community, friends and family. When I am older I want to swim in the Olympics for team GB and this camp would be an amazing experience to help me reach that goal.
