Weʼve raised £15 to Save Talk 2 Us

Funded on Thursday, 29th December 2016

    Story

Talk 2 Us is a speaking up group set up by and for people with learning disabilities. At our meeting we talk about the things that are important to us and stop us from having the life we want.
Next year we were hoping to celebrate our 10 year anniversary but but due to shortage of funding we are now facing the prospect of having to close the group down.
The work Talk 2 Us do is very important. We have looked at issues such as disability hate crime, mental health and domestic abuse. The group is also an important meeting place and for people who might otherwise be isolated and lonely.
We are looking for donations towards the running cost of our group.
