I've raised £1000 to Help fund a children's disability club in the Shepway area. The club will be based in Hythe, Kent and will be available to children u16 yrs

My name is Joanne Messiter, myself my partner Geoff and daughter Maddison are a fostering family in Hythe Kent.
We currently have a 10year old girl who is on a long term placement with When she arrived she lacked any social interaction and skills, which made her very isolated. Since she arrived with us in April 2017 we have tried to find her a regular social club to attend but sadly there are none in the Shepway area.
Because of this myself (the manager ) and a group of volunteer's also from Hythe have made the decision to open our own disability club called Fun4All - Shepway disability club
The club will be charitable funded and run by volunteers , made up of other foster carers/ parents of abled children / parents of disabled children and support from close family and friends who have knowledge and understanding of children with disabilities and who are committed and supportive of the club. There are also young children as volunteers both with and without disabilities, some of which are in care themselves.
To get the club up and running we need just under £5000 , we currently have a coin drop box in Waitrose Hythe and there has been an application and enquiries made into local companies to try and obtain funding.
Without funding Fun4All cannot happen so your donation as little or as much will help these children to not feel isolated any more.
