On Sun 10th June 2018, we sadly lost our beautiful daughter Aalish to Cancer. Aalish battled this horrific disease for 2 1/2 years and throughout her journey she remained brave, strong and very determined. She never let it destroy what she wanted to do and always carried a smile on her face.
Aalish lived for and loved her Theme Parks. The bigger the ride, the better it was. Throughout her treatment and when she was well that's where she wanted to go. Her smile was a pure delight to see.
We are in the process of starting Aalish's 'RidetheTheme' Dream and our aim is to work alongside the Children's Hospital Oncology Departments and help families with children with Neuroblastoma and send them on an all expenses trip to a Theme Park of their choice. To put a smile on a child's face that is so precious would be priceless and for the parents too.
Aalish showed me how never to be scared of anything. No matter what .. keep smiling. She taught me to live life to the fullest and don't let anything get in the way. Her strength was truly remarkable and she guided me through every step of the way.
As her Mum I want Aalish's Dream to live on and to be able to help other families who will be facing the same journey as we did.
