Story

A couple of years ago our friend suffered an attack of sepsis and became gravely ill. Life for her and her family will never be the same again. She spent months in hospital and has endured a number of operations to remove her fingers and feet which essentially 'died' during the infection. As her immune system is shot she is constantly in and out of hospital even for the slightest infection. She will never work again and her husband works a number of jobs to help support them and their 4 adopted children. They have recently started to renovate their house to make it more accessible for her and to give their growing children their own bedrooms (converting loft). They do not get any assistance by way of grants etc to help fund all this work. Our friend was rushed to hospital again yesterday due to urinary sepsis infection and possible flu. Her husband, everytime she goes into hospital, has to juggle the kids, his jobs, running the house as well as visiting his wife. They will be celebrating their silver wedding this week and it should be a time for celebration not worrying about paying for this huge project. We would like to help fund the renovations to help make life a little easier for them all. Please just give £1 if you can, because every £ will make a difference. Thankyou xx
