At Pink Academy, we’re more than just a small training centre and beauty salon – we’re a proud part of a vibrant local community. Nestled on a busy main road in Walkden, our academy sits alongside another salon, a college, and a popular coffee shop. It’s a place where students grow, clients relax, and locals connect.

But what happens when an emergency strikes?

Every minute matters in a cardiac arrest – and access to a defibrillator can be the difference between life and death. Without one, survival rates are just 10%. With one used within the first few minutes, that survival rate can jump to over 70%. That’s a 7x better chance of saving someone’s life.

We’ve recently completed a first aid course, and this shocking statistic stayed with us. That’s why we’ve made it our mission to fundraise for a 24/7 accessible defibrillator to be installed outside our academy – not just for us, but for everyone in the area.
