Dean is currently ranked world number 2 and reigning Champion of Champions winner 2023 With the World Disability Billiards and Snooker Association. He has bee given the greatest honour of being asked to represent not only Boston, but Great Britain in the upcoming World ability sports games in Shanghai Thailand In December, this is like a mini Olympic games. Dean had a major work accident that left his left arm/shoulder broken in that many pieces nobody could believe it, after a major op he was put back together but his arm was left hanging by only 1 tendon. He also dam his lower back. He never thought he would be able to play snooker again, so getting himsef to where he has and now having the greatest opportunity of his life would be a dream come true.
