On Saturday 23rd Sept I will be holding a coffee morning to raise money for Macmillan and for the Intensive Care Unit at Derby Royal Hospital.

Macmillan give us fantastic support in our community to families that are affected by cancer. I am also splitting the money with the ICU /HDU ward at Derby Royal Hospital where my mum recently recieved exceptional care and support, I saw first hand and experienced the generosity of the public raising funds for the ward with the comfy chairs, dyson fans and TVs around the ward .... and that's not even mentioning the state of the art equipment.

I can not thank the team enough for what they have done for our family and think it is fitting to try and give something back to the outstanding team that they have and to help support the families of loved ones being treated in such a difficult time.

The NHS get so much bad publicity and I want to be able to support patients and families in a similar situation on seeing how valuable our contributions can be.
