Story
Jo Bent-Hazelwood always had a bounce in her step and a desire to help others. She changed career to become a child and adolescent psychotherapist, working with young people and their families in various NHS Trusts over the last 10 or years.
Jo died on 29 April 2021, at 46 years young. There was more she wanted to do, including helping young people through her work. She can’t do that directly anymore. With your donation, we will support causes which help children and adolescents who are needing mental health services.
JustGiving requires a target. At first I set it at £500, then £1,000, then £2,000. I' amazed and gratified that we have gone through those milestones. I've raised the target again, to £4,000. I'm all the more determined to raise money which will make a difference.
Thank you in advance — David (husband)
NOW CLOSED
As you can see, this page is now closed. I'm just finalising how to distribute the money (more soon).
If you're only coming to the page now, no worried. We have started a new effort, raising funds to help child and adolescent psychotherapists improve how they use time when working with clients. That was Jo's last research topic.
