Story
Our good friends, Rob and Maria, had the fantastic idea to set up a free library in downtown Johannesburg. The library will serve to provide access to fiction and non fiction books for primary and high school students in the vicinity (many of whom do not have access to a library at school) as well as several youth NGOs in the area. This inner city safe haven hopes to improve the culture of reading among the local community and in so doing, ultimately become a window to the world for them. We think it is an incredibly valuable initiative and would like to support it as much as we can!
