Jock Orr  ... a name infamous within Ayrshire, a genuine, big hearted man, a family man .... sadly passed away suddenly this week. Jock was well know in Cumnock and throughout Ayrshire. He could often be found fixing cars in the garage behind the Mercat, or out and about sporting his infamous Mohawk, being the true punk he was.
Jock has three boys Ian, Scott and Alan who are all grown up and also has baby Kayla with his partner Ashley. Baby Kayla was found to have Ventricular Septal Defect which means she has a hole in her little heart which is too big to mend itself. Baby Kayla is waiting to go into hospital for heart surgery to repair the hole between the two valves of her heart.
This fundraising is in memory of Jock to provide support for his partner Ashley and his Baby Kayla in this difficult time, not only having Kaylas surgery but losing such an integral part of their lives. We hope by raising funds Kaylas surgery and recovery will be as smooth as possible. That Ashley and Kayla will have the financial support that would have been provided to them by the main man in their lives. That in this time of sadness, worry and loss a little hope can be provided through the generosity of our community.
The loss of Jock Orr has left a big hole in the lives of everyone who knew him .... let's pull together and provided a little help for Ashley and Baby Kayla, for Jock.
