Story
Meet Daniel, an adorable 9 year old boy about to go through a massive life changing amputation due to a desmoid tumour that was found in his leg a few years back, despite chemo, and radiotherapy this stubborn tumour refuses to give up! Daniels parents are very good friends of mine and I have watched Daniel grow from birth to now, He was a happy healthy little boy until this disease struck him and since his diagnosis this poor boy really has been through some tough times.
His mom and dad have been amazing through it all, Mum Trina shaved her hair all off to raise money to buy Daniel a wheelchair. Dad Jason works all the hours he can to provide a stable and loving home for his family.
Now the time has come to say goodbye to this tumour but in order to do that Daniel has to have his whole leg amputated, this is absolutely heartbreaking for the people who have watched this little boy grow up, but nowhere near as heartbreaking as it is for his parents,
His parents have never asked for a thing off anyone and are always the first to offer help when it's needed so I feel that they deserve some of the pressure taken off them in adapting their home for when Daniel comes home from hospital. The cost of adaptions is beyond their means. As friends and family of this amazing family I want us to raise as much as possible to take some of the stress away and help them create a safe and accessible environment for Daniel. The target seems huge but I know it's achievable, This little boy and his family have been through so much they deserve a break and by raising this money I know it will be a huge relief to both Mom and Dad knowing Daniel will be able to maneuver around his own home safely.
So please give what you can, I cannot express how grateful the family will be, as a close friend I just want to do
