I've raised £1500 to In loving in memory of Scott William Davies

Every two hours a man in the UK takes his own life. Male suicide and mental health is a big issue that can’t be ignored any longer. It’s unacceptable that so many men are dying from suicide on a daily basis, yet so few people are talking about it. My ultimate goal on my fundraising journey is to raise awareness of mental health focusing on males mental health and the services out there . I want to raise and awareness and funds for families dealing with the aftermath of the death of a loved one by suicide. suicide unlike any other grief is complex many people do not know what to say and it can become difficult to deal with complex emotions. charities such as SOBS are here to help with the difficult aftermath with a range of different services and advice online. This is why i have chosen SOBS.
As many people may already know we sadly lost Scott in December. The support of the community and further has already been amazing . As it is a new year we would like to continue to keep Scott's memory with us. Scott would of been turning 30 this year so I would like to celebrate his birthday by making is a special day. We will be marking the day by remembering him whilst fundraising for a great cause.
A few days after Scott's birthday I will be doing a sponserd sky dive with our little brother Dylan and close family friend Lyndsey. All proceeds raised after the cost of the sky dive will be split. First of all we will be getting a memorial plaque in memory of Scott , this will be set in a place that was close to Scott's heart , a place where he had very fond memories. I want to keep my brothers memory alive as much as possible ,his energy will always be with me and i continue to use his energy to support our family and friends. The remaining half of the proceeds will be going to a charity called 'SOBS' which is the survivors of bereavement by suicide. We have chose this charity as I would like to support anyone who is going through the same experience as we have. Once again I would like to thank everyone for their continued support ❤️
#wegottogetthruthis for the family of the loved ones left behind .
