Rico is my 2 year old, male French Bulldog, he came to live with me 3 months ago. It became apparent that Rico really struggles to breath and he desperatley needs BAOS surgery to remedy this.

Rico really, really struggles to breath, especially on his walks, when the temperature is hot and humid, and also sometimes when he is asleep as he often wakes during the night gasping for breath.

Rico cannot walk very far before he becomes out of breath and exhausted, he will often have to lay down on his walks and then need to be carried.

Rico can't run around for long like other dogs because he becomes out of breath which can lead to him dangerously overheating. I worry that Rico could die because of this.

Rico cant be left at home alone, as he becomes distressed and panics and again struggles to breath. I have tried to leave him for short periods of time but he gets in such state, panting and salivating and overheating.

Rico has been to the vets beacuse of this and the vet believes that Rico would massively benefit from having BOAS surgery, this surgery will help improve Ricos breathing thus improving his quality of life.

This operation will widen Ricos nostrils and shorten the soft pallete in his throat, making it much easier for Rico to breath.

This operation will completely change Rico's quality of life and he will be a much happier, healthy dog.
