Story

I have been undergoing a diagnosis of chrons/bowl endometriosis disease at the age of 28 for two and a half years now and i am still UN-diagnosed . I have suffered years of chronic pain that brings me to tears and leaves me in the loo for hours on end, i loose half a stone each time i am poorly and need to spend the rest of my time whilst out of the toilet re gaining my energy in bed. I have had tests under the nhs which have not lead to a definite diagnosis yet. I am at home in agony and awaiting emergency appointments for months which you can imagine is very upsetting and soul destroying. when i finally get tested the results are never what i want to hear and am told to continue to manage my chrons like symptoms unless i take a dramatic turn for the worst (which in my eyes i am already dramatically unwell) Chrons disease can be very hard to diagnose and can take years to be found. Tests need to keep being repeated until it is found. So two and a half years on i have suffered another flare up again (this happens every 4 months) this flare up is now going strong after 2 weeks no improvement only getting worse. I am in agony i am loosing weight, being sick and i cant eat as it causes to much pain my gums are bleeding and i am loosing blood whilst going to the toilet i am exhausted and have reached the end of my patience but because i have no temperature and my vital signs are ok i am again awaiting emergency apointments . I have had calprotectin samples done every time i have these episodes and they are the only thing that are on my side always coming back at a dangerously raised level which is a definite indication of inflammatory and disease in the intestines. Theses results at this high level are a sure sign of chrons or colitis but even still I have to wait months for a appointment with the nhs whilst i just sit at home in agony. so i am asking for help to be able to get my life back and continue to work because at the moment i am signed of from my job which i love i also have a son who is 9 years old and needs his mummy to be fit and healthy being cared for and worried about by your 9 year old son is not something that i ever imagined would happen to me. I can with your help go for private medical help which will get me seen in a number of days not months and the procedures i need also within a number of days, this will help me finally have my long awaited diagnosis.Waiting months for these tests doesn't help because by the time i am tested i am no longer inflamed. My mum died of bowl cancer at the age of 51 after being told she had PILES by the time they found the cancer it was stage 4 and she sadly passed away. I know i haven't got cancer (i prey) but not every one is a text book illness and people do go UN diagnosed for years before they are to poorly. I do not want this to happen to me or my son. The doctors quote your a mystery but your are very unwell how can that be quoted yet left. I know the NHS are over loaded but i just want my life back and to be out of pain. please help me get the help i need In days. After seeing a consultant at the spire hospital i have now been told i may have bowl endometriosis and need tests asap to diagnose my condition. i can with your help pay to be treated within weeks or i have to wait and continue to be unwell for months and months on end awaiting appointments to come through from the NHS.
