Story

Hi, I'm Jodie.

I was amazed to have been selected to take part in the World Scout Jamboree in West Virginia in 2019 to represent the UK.

This is a once in a lifetime opportunity that brings together the world’s young people to promote world peace and to develop leadership and life skills. Scouts from all over the world will be attending this educational event to bring together different cultures and to experience new adventures and friendships.

My goal is to raise £3700 to fund my place, and help fund others to go from poorer countries. The theme is ‘unlock a new world.’

I have started to raise the funds myself by making and selling bags of sweets and worked out that I need to sell around 4375 bags to reach my goal! I am also selling bags of coffee. Please help me to achieve raising the funds by kindly donating so I can buy the sweets/coffee I need to sell in order to raise the full amount myself. Any donation, however small, will take me one step closer to my goal. Thank you

Please also get in touch if you can help me sell or supply my sweets or coffee at your workplace/group/event etc. These are also good for childrens parties.

I have been in the Scout family from Rainbows to Brownies, Guides, then Explorer Scouts, so around ten years now. I am really excited to have been chosen to go.

Thank you for your support.
