I really didn't want to resort to this, but i dont know what else to do, I'll just start from the beginning please bear with me.
In january 2017 my two children Ernest-lee and pippa jay got took off me and went to live with my brother for what the social worker said was "the weekend"
You see i had post natal depression and my partner had depression and he was working 6 sometimes 7 days a week, so in time the house got in a mess, and i do admit it was bad. i was at home with my baby's all day, I'd play with them love them cuddle them and just be there for them, but i dug my head in the sand when it came to my house. The social work came and took the kids and said they could come back at the weekend when the house was cleaned. The weekend came, no kids. They kept promising us "they'll be home tomorrow". Two weeks later they put them into foster care. We worked our arses off to get the house child friendly, got my mental health sorted and my partner cut his days at work down but still not good enough. I got pregnant a month after the kids got took, by this time everything had turned itself around, but social work took my baby, phillip martin, when he was born, their reasons being because the other two are in care. Our social worker was a brand new worker, this was her first case and from the beginning she has been incompetent, not booking rooms for contact, not inviting carers or other people on our side to panels, meetings ect. but conveniently inviting her own people. We are being judged because of our mental health, which wasnt affecting the kids in anyway at all, my depreasion was mild.we are appealing every decision they make. Her recommendation is adoption for all three, why? A lot of other parents and professionals have reported her for incompetence. Theyre cutting contact bit by bit, they've totally cut Ernest-lees contact which were appealing.They can never give us a straight answer, we feel ganged up on in meetings. Of course these are recommendations and that might not be the judges answer, and were fighting them all the way but its just us two against a pack of wolves.They dont bother with the letters off our workers saying we have 100% turned around and they think the kids should come home. They've had their minds made up from day one. My youngest wasn't even concieved at the time. I got pregnant a month after everything had turned around, when everything was fine, so he shouldn't even be there, its not fair. Everyone that knows us where we live are disgusted this is happening, and the professional workers we work with, everyone always says how loved my kids were how polite, clever, funny well presented my babys were. My kids heads are going to be messed up, this has been going on too long. Please help me get a reputable solicitor/lawyer to try and get my baby's home, i dont know how much one costs but we'll apriciate anything, Theres a lot more things i can say but it would take me forever.
