Story
Hannah Alexander dedicated herself to her local community and went out of her way to make sure that she did anything in her power to enrich the lives of those around her. She had a passion for helping with Clopton Nursery, a setting both of her children attended in various guises. She became a trustee and later chair of trustees for the nursery and wanted to ensure the best possible start for all children who attended the setting, not just her own.
Unfortunately, Hannah died unexpectedly in January 2024 and her friends and family will ensure that as much support can be given to the nursery as possible. A book swap and memorial garden have been established at the nursery to keep Hannah's memory alive, and we are fundraising to put more money into the nursery and Book Swap. This is in conjunction with fundraising for the Air Ambulance Service, of which more information and donations can be made here - https://theairambulanceservice.org.uk/ways-to-give/give-in-memory/tribute/hannah-alexander/
Hannah would have turned 40 on 4th October this year, and so between 4th and 5th October, I am playing tennis for 24 hours to fundraise in her name. Donations, words of encouragement, participants, and spectators will all be hugely appreciated and welcome. All I ask is that donations be split evenly between both charities if possible.
Thank you so much for your support.
