Harborough woodland are a voluntary group based in Market Harborough aiming to plant tens of thousands of tree's in south Leicestershire to help increase wood land. The plan is to raise £5k in order to apply to become a charity and I am going to run the Leicester half marathon to help raise money towards their £5k target.

Leicestershire is one of the lowest counties for woodland coverage in the UK. Tree's are a fantastic way to reduce C02 in the atmosphere, help the reduction of flooding, help wildlife and provide shelter with the ever increasing temperatures that we are being exposed to in the UK.
