Story
I would like to go to Ghana, in order to help out in the STEM centres for the young people there. If I am able to get to Ghana the date I will be going is 22nd July to the 1st August.
STEM Learning is “working to achieve a world-leading education for all young people in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics”, which I believe is vital to ensure that the young people in Africa can hope for a better future for themselves and their families.
Over in Ghana, we will also visit Libraries and Orphanages trying to help the Children and Adults who maybe in need. This trip will hopefully benefit the Ghanaian people and also me as I will see a different way in which other people in the world live which I think is important for me as a growing individual.
The funds I raise are going towards: flights, building equipment, clean drink water, books, computers and a personal group guide/translator for 2 weeks.
