In the early hours of 16th June 2018, Joe Hart a 20 year Witham lad who is father of a young son, got peckish and went to the local takeaway.

Joe was set upon by a group of 9, YES 9, hooligans who beat him to a pulp, knocking him to the ground an using his head like a football. Joe was dragged inside a pub, an action that almost definatley, saved his life.....

The injuries Joe suffered were horrific, his facial bones where not only shattered but they were detached from the skull. A hole through his face just missed his eye socket. His jaw, nose and cheekbones broken Joe had to have extensive surgery to ‘fix’ him back together....all this because he was hungry And went to the wrong place at the wrong time.

Joe has a very long road to recovery, the phyisical scars will fade in time but the emotional scars will be with this brave lad for the rest of his life.

Any money raised will help Joe so he does not have to worry about how he will provide for his little boy, help him pay his bills and try and get himself back on his feet. We know money is tight but please give a little if you can.
