Story

This August, we’re taking on a gruelling 240km run and cycle from Galway to Dublin—coast to coast across Ireland—to raise vital funds for St. Michael’s Hospice.

On 8/8/25, our team of four—Joe Quince, Sheldon Wright, Phill Holt, and Danny Byrne-Evans—will push physical and emotional limits, driven by deeply personal connections to this incredible charity.

Over 48 hours, we’ll cover 120km on foot and 120km by bike—a true test of endurance and spirit. This is the equivalent of 5.5 marathons in 2 days.

Last year, we raised £5,000 from our London to Basingstoke event. This year, we’re aiming to double it.

Why? Because every day, St. Michael’s Hospice needs to raise £14,500 to keep its vital services running.

💙 The Cost of Compassion:

• 🕐 £20.45 – One hour of nursing care

• ☕ £26.12 – Average cost of 3 drinks and snacks per patient, per day

• 🍽️ £621.63 – Cost for one patient to stay in the Hospice for a full day (including meals, care, and support)

Please support us in any way you can. Every donation brings us closer to making a real, lasting difference.
