On 31 August, I’ll be taking on a sponsored walk across all of London’s Thames bridges, alongside Joe’s Auntie Kelly and some friends. We are hoping to raise £6,000 to buy 12 gravestones for babies currently buried in unmarked graves at East London Cemetery.

As you know, my precious son Joe died earlier this year. His gravestone is bought and paid for, and his grave is lovingly cared for.

I can’t bear the thought of other families not having this same comfort because they don't have the money for a stone. No one should have to visit an unmarked patch of ground where their baby lies.

It will mean so much to me but also to their families to give these babies gravestones to mark their short but precious lives.
