Joe Thompson was more than a footballer. He was strength in adversity. Faith in uncertainty and Light in dark places for so many. After battling cancer three times, Joe showed the world what resilience truly meant. He continued to inspire those around him with his mindset, courage and determination to keep going.
In April 2025, Joe passed away from Hodgkin’s Lymphoma. But his story did not end… It multiplied.
Through his family. Through his children. Through every person he inspired. Through you.
This walk is not about loss. It is about legacy.
The Joe Thompson Foundation continues his legacy by supporting people facing adversity, empowering young people, and helping individuals and families through life’s toughest challenges.
