Story

Jess and Jason need to relocate to Scotland to provide a safer and kinder environment to their boy, Joey. They live in a rough area in London where drugs and violence are a daily issue on their doorstep. They have been caught up in what could have been life ending situations as a result of drug dealers and violence in the local area. They need help to raise some funds to relocate, cost of moving etc. They have suffered financial setbacks after Jess experienced a traumatic labour which left her and Joey both fighting for their lives. They were given amazing care at Medway Hospital and are lucky to be here now, however Jess ended up having a mental breakdown as a result of the trauma. This has meant she was then unable to return to work and Jason is on a low income. They are reliant on food banks to feed their son They have sold the belongings they can, including their car, they just need help to get that extra cash.

Moving will mean Joey does not have to witness violence and drug abuse when he walks down the shops with his mum. He will be able to access a high standard of education and the cost of living is far cheaper in Scotland so the Ward’s can finally get back on their feet and give their very deserving baby boy a shot at a decent life.
