Story

Waddington Football Club are raising money to help little Jamie. He needs a special helmet for his severe Plagiocephaly. If he doesn't receive this helmet it could cause developmental delays, also he would never live a normal life. He wouldn't be able to wear things such as a bicycle helmet or even wear glasses because his ears are currently misaligned. This is a time critical treatment and must start now while Jamie's skull is soft and flexible in order to correct his misalignment. Sadly, this type of helmet is not funded by the NHS and we want to help. The football team will be running 5k in fancy dress but anyone is welcome to #JogforJamie on Sunday 14th January 2018 and help us raise money. We begin at Waddington Social Club at 2pm. All we ask is for you to take part is sign up on the day and contribute a charity donation (we recommend £5). Run, jog or walk this will be a fantastic event and Waddington Social Club will be open for drinks, food, music afterwards. We encourage all families to come and celebrate this community event.
