Story

My team and I have just completed our 6th mission. A total of £120,000 has been raised and we have delivered thousands of specialist medical equipment and trauma bandages, as well as 12 vehicles, 6 generators, clothes, toys and building materials so houses can be rebuilt.

At the end of November we are heading out again with vehicles and supplies and warm children's clothes. Most civilians have left the danger zones, but thousands still remain, including families with young children and the elderly.

It is left up to small groups of volunteers to provide medical, and food supplies to town and villages that are shelled constantly.

Food and medicines delivered to families 8 miles from the frontline

Video I took shows the guys that provide supplies direct to civilians. Supplies you helped purchase. They are handing out medical supplies and food to the residents of Kramatorsk, 8 miles from the frontline. Andro who is handing out the parcels was tragically killed by a landmine.

We are still raising funds. The more we raise the more kit we can take out.

To rebuild a home costs just £1,100 for all the materials and windows. That will keep a family of five warm all winter and provide some dignity to people that just want to live in peace.

A donation of £20 can buy a tourniquet. That can save a life by stopping bleeding. If you can help please do.

Donate here or contact John Abbey direct on 077 30 65 8888 for further information. I will be keeping records of all donations and supplies purchased available to anyone.
