I am proud to have known John Anthony Cox or Coxy as he was known to everyone since we were little kids knocking about the streets of Westpoint in Manchester. There is so much that I could tell you about my friend Coxy but I wouldn't have the space on this page to tell you - just to say he was one of those one in a million type of blokes - one of my true friends! When he passed away so suddenly back on the 26th May 2006 - he left a gaping hole in my life and so many others that can never be filled.

So as a tribute to the great Coxy, I have decided to run the Southport Half Marathon on the 30th June 2019 and are asking you good people to donate some money so we can help the Epilepsy unit that he attended at Salford Royal Hospital to buy some much needed equipment.
