the weather was kind and we had a smooth 17hr crossing. We waited for approximately 6hrs in Rosslare through immigration and find accommodation to keep this family group together. They are in Co Clare and the Irish government has been amazing organising school for the children, English classes for the ladies, hotel rooms, meals, toiletries, future employment workshops and wonderful volunteers across the country helping with everything from transport, translating, papers, donations or just a plain and simple much needed hug. 🇮🇪💙💚🇺🇦

Hey friends update for today. We had a lovely final meal together and the atmosphere was positive as the realisation sets in that this long journey is nearly at a close. We went to the beach this morning and the children were so happy to run around and play. John put a Ukraine flag at the hotel and they put it up for us 🙌🏻🇺🇦 We are making our way to the ferry and fingers crossed everything will be fine at passport control 🤞🤞
