Please help, I am paddling the 125 mile Devizes to Westminster Marathon Canoe Race over the Easter weekend to raise funds for the young people completing their Duke of Edinburgh Award at Rowdeford School. The school expedition kit is on it's last legs, (one teacher told me a lady called Hilary donated it after they had finished using it in 1953, i'm not sure this is true). Anyway it's pretty old and worn and if anymore young people at Rowdeford are going to get to the top of their mountain they are going to need some tents that were made in this decade.

It is 125 miles long, my aim is to finish it with me and boat in one piece, however I would love to finish it an accumulated time of under 24 hours!

I am asking to be sponsored by the mile to provide me with incentive to keep going when the going gets tough, like sponsorship used to be! Therefore I will return any over paid funds if I pull out of the race early. So that means if 100 people sponsor me 10p a mile and I finish the race I will hit my target.
