I've raised £150 to Upgrade and service my 19 year old Giant MTB so I can complete, safely, Cycle 300 in September to raise funds for Cancer Research UK

I have signed up to do the cycle 300 challenge during September for Cancer Research. I have a Giant ATX 840 MTB that I have owned from new for 19 years. It was a birthday present from my mom, one of the last that she bought me, before she was taken by cancer. I really want to raise as much money for Cancer Research as I can as it is an amazing cause. Over the last 3 years I have been a mature student at the University of Birmingham studying Social Policy and Criminology and have lost just short of 9 stone through Slimming World. I am repeating third year because of mental health issues so have limited funds and I would be so proud to be able to complete this challenge on the MTB that my mom bought me. Being that my MTB is so old it does need an upgrade and a service, professionally, but due to limited funds I cannot afford to do this to a good standard. This would be an amazing opportunity to honour my mom and raise money for a great cause,
