Story
Shortly before Christmas Toby, an 11 year old boy was diagnosed with a Clear cell sarcoma behind his left knee. A very rare cancer, particularly in children and extremely aggressive.
This resulted in the need for an above-knee amputation (mid-thigh)
On Saturday 22nd March 6 members and helpers from Clowne Cricket Club will leave the ground with Toby on a hospital bed and push the bed all the way to the Utilita Arena, Sheffield. Some 16 miles.
Fit athletes we aren't but middle aged men we are so please give generously to this great cause.
We are also raising funds for Sheffield Children's Hospital and monies will be split equally.
This will help to allow them to keep doing the fantastic work they do for so many children everyday.
A huge thankyou to DSFS Chesterfield Royal Hospital who have kindly donated the bed.
