I've raised £400 to support the work of the Derek Bailey Foundation

Hi everyone,
I'm running the Robin Hood half marathon on the 30th September to raise money for the Derek Bailey Foundation. This charity was founded by Joan Bailey in memory of her late husband. It provides education and medical facilities in Southern Gambia. Recent works have included an extension to the local school and a maternity unit so that villagers will no longer have to travel when having a child.
The Derek Bailey Foundation is a non political and non religious charity and they work with all the people within this area irrespective of differences of religion, race, creed or political belief.
If you are interested in the work of this foundation, more information can be found on their website here http://www.derek-bailey-foundation.org/
This is my second half marathon in 3 years and I'm very proud to be running on behalf of such an organisation.
Any donations would be greatly appreciated!
John
