Due to being disabled and unwell my son helps me all the time and keeps me motivated. He works part time so he can do this.

However, he is on low income and lives in a small bedsit. The council where helping with rent payments but have just written to him and have asked him to pay back overy £5000 going back over a few yrs. It was a total shock to him and the amount they have asked him to pay ongoing just he doesn't earn enough to continue living there and will be evicted with nowhere to live.

He isn't on any benefits and just wants to get by

I don't know what to do and how this will effect him. Just to help him and let him continue to be near me as well is all l can think about

Looking to raise the money as he didn't know there was any issue and had no warning.
