Please help me to raise desperately needed funds for greenfields greyhound rescue, greyhound gap and Birmingham greyhound protection , 3 rescues very close to my heart who tirelessly pick up the pieces left by the cruelty of man and the racing industry these gentle creatures can suffer dreadfully during their short lived racing career and thousands are classed as waste and destroyed if they don't meet expectations.. many are dreadfully traumatised, injured or totally neglected when they come to the rescue centres and the dedication and hard work of the volunteers is unprecedented , the vets fees are enormous as well as the day to day running costs for the kennels so whatever funds that are raised will be very very appreciated
June 7th will be my 54th birthday and as usual on my birthday I try to do something stupid (according to my wife 🙄) but I call it my bucket list/ mid life crisis 😎
This year I will be attempting to swim the deep ,dark and very cold lake gwynant from. End to end followed by climbing Snowdon within 24hrs .. this is something I've wanted to do for a long time and something i've been training for over a year to do .. at last ime going to get the chance to do it and hopefully raise something for the 3 wonderful charities whilst doing it ..
