I've raised £200 to help fund research into Menieres Disease

Matt and David are running the Great North Run half marathon on Sunday 9th September. The Great North Run is the largest half marathon in the world with 57,000 runners. The 13 mile run starts in Newcastle Upon Tyne at the iconic Tyne Bridge and finishes at the sea front in South Shields.
They are running to support a charity Deaf to Menieres. They are running for their father John who has had Meniere’s for the last 6 years.
Meniere’s disease impacts over 100,000 people in the UK and commonly strikes adults in their 20’s and 30’s. It is a life changing disease of the inner ear giving random severe vertigo attacks, constant dizziness and loss of balance, tinnitus and chronic fatigue.
The cause of the disease is unknown and there is no know cure. Hence many young people face a lifetime of debilitating illness.
Deaf to Menieres is a charity dedicated to increasing research funding into Meniere’s and to secure effective treatment for all sufferers.
David has been training hard and going for a target time of 1:28. Matt has also been training but will be happy just to finish somewhere under 2 hours.
Please donate as much or as little as you can afford, even the smallest amount is of great benefit to the cause.
All money raised will be donated directly into a Meniere's research project.
Thank you, John.
